A qualification for teaching English as a second language in the UK or teaching abroad, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (Tefl) is recognised and requested by employers in language schools and learning institutions around the world.

Tefl certification qualifies you to teach in a language school, learning centres, schools abroad, colleges, universities and commercial companies as an English language teacher on a full time, part time and contract basis.

What you will learn

Many aspects of teaching and learning as a tefl language teacher from classroom management, board work, marking, assessment, lesson planning, testing, designing resources and any others.  You will take part in group work, practice lessons and of course assessment of your teaching ability for the award of your tefl qualification.

 

How much is the TEFL course?

Depends on the provider and if you are on a residential course and intensive training. £700 to £2,300 full time or part time.
