Recruitment Service

Recruitment services offered to screen people for teaching jobs in the UK and education jobs abroad for permanent and long term positions to teach, lecturer and work in universities, schools and colleges. This process below is of course similar for employers.

Recruiting can be a complex process and education recruitment has a number of checking procedures to find the correct person.  The recruitment process is a three way event between the recruitment company or organisation and the proposed teacher.

Teaching jobs can be for almost all sectors in education from:

Education council and local government

The following is not an exhaustive list and view of best practice of recruitment, although is good practice.

Education recruitment services can be for permanent jobs or long term contract teaching posts for education jobs in the UK, Middle East, Europe, Asia and globally. Recruitment services include:

 

Interviewing: Initial telephone conversation to a full face to face interview with potential employees.

Assessments: Various forms of written, verbal and presentation assessments can be arranged.

Checking & Screening: Checking an employee’s background including; qualifications, past work history and police clearance.

Guidance and Information: Another person to sit in on interviews and provide guidance or information during the recruitment process.

Recruitment Fair & Events: Set up and arrange education and teacher recruitment events in the UK, Middle East, Europe and globally to find and recruit qualified teachers and leaders.

 

Full candidate vetting process, regardless of the role goes through:

  • A face-to face interview.
  • Personal identification and address conformation.
  • Confirmation of qualifications, including originals.
  • Professional references obtained, at least two.
  • Professional body registration such as: General Teaching Council  Scotland (GTCS)
  • Criminal Records Bureau/Disclosure Scotland check.
  • List 99 check or not disqualified in other countries from teaching.
  • Right to work in the country.
  • Passport check (Overseas Recruitment)
  • Good health.
  • Micro teach at interview.
  • Other relevant checks that are best practice and legal.
