Choosing your next property location may not be an easy decision as many countries have a lot to offer. Traditionally people have headed to the sun, although as life styles change and working patterns afford longer periods off work, some people look for more adventure or less discovered parts of the world. British are still leaving the UK for the familiar countries of Spain, France and Italy. These traditional relocation countries are close to any easily accessible from a British person homes. Spain and other med countries have sun, mountains and the sea to offer, with a wide choice of properties to choose from.
Eastern Europe The lure and attraction of Eastern Europe is the cost of property. In comparison countries such as Bulgaria offer luxury homes, apartments and organic living for a fraction of the cost than developed western countries such as the UK. The lower cost of living on the continent is widely taken as fact, but does the sweet life in other countries come with hidden costs and challenges? Purchasing property as an investment, letting opportunity or as a second home should not be taken likely as many variables should be planned and met at each stage.
Emigrating Canada, New Zealand, Australia and America give the chance to relocate. Australia and New Zealand are great places to relocate to as there countries have a great life opportunity. Please remember, countries not in the commonwealth will be harder to gain permanent residence due to immigration restrictions. Expat pensioners in certain countries could face the prospect of surviving on the equivalent of just £7 a day, as UK pensions in some commonwealth countries remain fixed at pre-inflation levels. We all have one life and money is not everything!
