Teachers from the UK and overseas are welcome with appropriate qualifications to work as teacher in a public school in Scotland if they have registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). Scotland teaching and education also has independent fee paying schools and teachers must also be registered with (GTCS).
